KIIT Polytechnic Conducts Induction Program-2021 for Freshers

  An Induction Program-2021 was held by KP or KIIT Polytechnic for the students of the first year. The program took place on December 8, 2021, in virtual mode. Dr. Tanmaya Mohanty, the Principal at KIIT Polytechnic, addressed all the first year students about the mission of the Induction Program while presenting a short profile of KP and its founding members. The principal had his emphasis on SPICES or Skill-Products-Interns-Connects-Exposure, offered to the KP students apart from their regular curriculum.               Dr. Tanmaya Mohanty further showcased the success story of the last academic year. It is yet another big leap forward towards self-reliance by the KIIT that barely requires an introduction. Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ‘Kala Kumbh’ Inaugurated at KIIT & KISS

  Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) & Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) signed an MoU with the National Gallery of Modern Art (NGMA), Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India recently to work jointly to protect, preserve and promote tribal art, craft, stories and culture through research and documentation, exhibitions of contemporary artworks, seminars, conferences, and exchange visits for the tribal artisans. Now, the NGMA has joined hands with KIIT & KISS to organize a six-day mega artists’ workshop – ‘Kala Kumbh’ - at KISS to celebrate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ and the heroic lives and struggles of unsung heroes of India’s freedom movement. KIIT Wins ‘THE Awards Asia 2021’ in ‘Leadership and Management Team of the Year’ Category

Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar has been awarded ‘THE Awards Asia’ Leadership and Management Team of the Year for its phenomenal pandemic response and relief work. The award was announced by the Times Higher Education (THE) on 14th December 2021. KIIT is the only University from India and also the only university in Asia to get this award in one of the categories, for the second year in a row. Achyuta Samanta Nominated Member of CAVA

Dr. Achyuta Samanta , the founder of KIIT and KISS, a steady stallion in the race to enlightenment and sports, has scaled a new high on the horizon yet again.  In the recent feat, Dr. Samanta, MP, Kandhamal, President, Volleyball Federation of India has been nominated to the (Central Asian Volleyball Association) CAVA as Member of Board of Administrations (BOA).  He was nominated during the CAVA virtual meeting held on 02.12.2021 in New Delhi. The CAVA nominated Dr. Samanta considering his multifaceted talent and especially his remarkable contribution in the field of sports.
